Yes I agree that coming from a country (New Zealand) where socially funded healthcare was a right for every citizen, mutually funded by every citizen, I still find it difficult to get my head around the idea that healthcare in a developed country might not be available to me when I need it. The American system is bizarre, costly, ineffective and unjust, and yet some people seem to think it&#039;s patriotic to preserve it.</description>
