Holidays at Home
My blogging has been sparse lately – work has been very busy, and these past few days I’ve been taking visitors around Paris to see the sights. It’s been an interesting experience becoming a tourist again – Paris is a VERY beautiful city, we’re lucky to have the chance to live here.
To all the readers and visitors here, have a wonderful, peaceful and happy Christmas, and all the best for a prosperous and fulfilling 2010.

Talking about walks, I can’t remember what book exactly it’s in (it’s not fiction though) but Gérard de Nerval wrote some beautiful texts about (often alcoholic) tours of “Paris by Night”.
Of course he was a 19th century man so a lot will have disappeared today but you can probably try to retrace a few of his steps.
And have you seen “Les arènes de Lutèce” yet ?
thanks so much for having me/us/refugees, you name it! it was so good to see you, that i’m not sure whether it was the seeing you or the seeing you in paris or the paris… hehehe.
